Walking Our Snow-bound Block
Results of the great dig-out are mixed so far. We went exploring on foot. There were actually a few pavement spottings.
It's a bit of a mixed bag, though. Some streets have been partially plowed.
Then there are the places that are still virtually impassable.
Finally, there's our alley. The county says they may plow it after they've finished all the main roads and side streets. Until then, this is what separates us from the open road!

Digging Out From Snowzilla!
Right now this is a path to nowhere. The alley is under almost three feet of snow.
This is a path to Lee Highway. Note the plows have created a large ice berm that we'd need a blowtorch to cut through!

Snowzilla Update
We've gotten quite a bit of snow so far. Still have a few hours of more heavy snow left, according to the forecasts.
Thinking of renaming our house Endurance.

Future's So Bright...
Falco wants to remind everyone that light reflected off snow can be very bright and damage your eyes, so wear your sunglasses when shoveling, tobogganing, or whatever!

Ice, Ice, Baby!
We got an inch of snow. This is the street, a major thoroughfare, in front of our house. Forecasts are predicting a foot or more starting Friday night. Something tells me we're not prepared...
